Listening to the radio has been something that we can all identify with because no matter where you are there will always be a radio station playing to please its listeners. It is pretty obvious that listening to radio is free of cost, thanks to the revenue generated by advertising.  You can be sure that the content will also be prepared according to the requests and needs of its audience not unless it caters to a niche type of audience.

And while there have always been illegal ways of getting free music, this one by now has been largely untouched due to the fact that the music played on the radio is for promotional purposes, to say the least.

Thanks to the internet that has brought the power back to the people, there have been several instances when obtaining free copies of music has become easier than ever.  Since laws are only limited to certain countries, internet users in other countries have access to a lot of free content that would be illegal in certain countries such as the United States and in Europe.

And yet again, the medium of streaming radio has still not yet been harmed in anyway due to the fact that it reaches a wider audience through the airplay of songs, making this medium one of the most loved and timeless ways to listen to great music while not having to pay for it.

Take Home Chef is the Best

Thanks for the post, Arthur Lawrence

Baking shows are incredible.  There is really nothing else like them on the air.  These are truly entertaining shows that actually teach the viewers important skills.  I have learned so much by watching these programs.  Before I started watching cooking shows, I could not cook anything beyond simple pasta dishes.  Now, I am cooking succulent dishes that I would never have dreamed I could even afford to buy at a fine restaurant.  Now, I eat like a king every single night.  The only downside is that I am gaining weight like crazy.

Home-chef

My absolute favorite baking show is the Take Home Chef.  I love to watch this show on my Direct tv.  The Take Home Chef is a television program with a really fun premise.  The chef walks the aisles of the supermarket and forces himself into a person’s house to cook him or her a nice dinner.  Curtis Stone is the chef.  You may remember him from The Celebrity Apprentice.  He is very fond of picking attractive women to be on the show.  On this show, Mr. stone proves the point that it is entirely possible for anyone to learn how to cook.

The Take Home Chef is a great and uplifting show.  There is truly nothing like it on today’s television channels.  That is why I love it so much and cannot wait to see each and every new episode.

Glenn Beck, who has been a popular host on Fox News, took television viewers by surprise when he announced that his 5 pm program will transition off the network so that he can focus on producing a variety of television projects for Fox as well as the digital properties that Fox News currently owns.

And this news comes despite the fact that his news show is the third-highest rated cable news program, and which attracts almost 2.2 million viewers every night.

With the kind of response that he has received in taking up the 5 pm slot on Fox News, there was no doubt that this move has been met with surprise and digs from the media universe, where some are not sure what he’s going to do and the others wonder why he has made such a move.

Although he has been such a controversial figure, much to the envy of his left-wing competitors whose ratings pale in comparison, there’s no doubt that most people wonder who is going to pull the numbers for the 5 pm slot like Beck has done in the past.

In hindsight, his criticism of President Obama at the height of his popularity back when he was newly elected as the President drew a lot of criticism (and attention) has only changed his status from being another talk show host to a cultural icon of our times.

But there’s no doubt that Fox and Beck will continue to work together for some time to come, albeit in a new manner.
