The summer of 2014 brought in two successful movies, Paramount Pictures Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Teenage Ninja Turtle pocketed more than $120 million in the U.S. and Canada within the first 11 days of screening. This success is mainly due to kids who are at home during the summer. This is why 2014 summer releases were jam packed. Among movies successfully released includes Godzilla which raked in $93 million within the weekend following the opening in May and X-Men: Days of Future Past which came in the following weekend took the helm and earned $90 million. Maleficent followed them the next weekend and grossed more than $68 million. By late July, Transformers: Age of Extinction which opened in late June earned more than $243 million in total ticket sales. All these summer blockbusters are expected to do exceptionally well in other countries.

Summer releases traditionally crowd the season and more and more studios are advancing release dates earlier to avoid other known movie releases basically extending the summer forward. One big problem for movie makers is dwindling numbers of teenagers going to movies. Data indicates that this group dropped by more than 17 percent in year 2013.

When it comes to the game of soccer, there are those who play it, those who love it and those who live it. Which one are you? Being the first two is pretty easy. Even playing it doesn’t have to be the biggest challenge if you are only kind of into the game. It’s when you decide to take the leap and live for the greatest game ever that the stakes become higher and more is asked of you. That’s when you become the type of person who wears goalkeeper gloves to watch your favorite team play at a bar. That’s when you carry soccer equipment in your car, just in case. That’s when you wear cleats to bed and sing your team’s song in the shower.

So do you live for the game or not? If so, buy the best gear and wear it proud (and shame anyone who doesn’t anything else). After all, this is more than just a game we’re talking about. It’s more than just a way of life. This is soccer.
